The Story so far:
Morningblue was born in Thunderclan and has always felt a little out of touch with the cats around him. As a kit, he really didn't like to play or have fun. He felt like he was drifting through a fog, doing everything her was supposed to do for his clan, but never really feeling any joy from it. The only cat he really felt connected to was his littermate, Jaystorm. He was able to open up to her. Everything changed for Morningblue the day he went out on a patrol and met a group of rough cats. He had his first battle and taste of fighting and victory when the rogues ran off, defeated. Morningblue had finally found something that made him feel alive, fighting. And it turns out, he had a gift for it. He impressed his mentor, with his skills and tactical mind. He may have only been a passable hunter, but it was enough to earn him his warrior name. Still, battles don't happen every day, and the tom went back to drifted along in his warrior duties waiting for the day he came alive again. When he and his pregnant sister were attacked by a rogue in the territory, Morningblue realized how important his family was to him, and on the hunting patrol into Shadowclan, he met Rosebelly. Their patrol ran into a Shadowclan apprentice who had survived the flood named Sharppaw. Morningblue and Rosebelly tried to convince the apprentice that they were there to check on Shadowclan after the flood but were unsuccessful and when Jaystorm gave birth, Morningblue had to face the grim reality of what a battle could mean for the young of Thunderclan. He befriended and began spending more time with Rosebelly, and fought along side her at the gathering when the Dusk Syndicate attacked, driving off a tom named Donovan. It was then, Morningblue began to think about how to give Thunderclan a fighting chance in the upcoming battle against Windclan. He knew that Thunderclan would need allies if they were to succeed and went to Passionblaze with the proposal. Feeling as though the deputy wasn't listing to his argument, the tom went to Snowstar instead. In the end, Snowstar never made time to speak to him and life went on as normal. Rosebelly went missing, leaving Morningblue to grieve over his close friend. Then one dawn, Windclan attacked Thunderclan at camp, and Morningblue rushed to the nursery to defend his sister and kits, fighting off a Windclan apprentice named Hazelpaw. Jaystorm jumped into the fight, infuriating Morningblue and leading to a fight between the two as Jaystorm argued that she didn't need his help and Morningblue insisted he was merely defending the nursery as any good warrior would.
